Hybrid V3
I tested one of the versions from an alternate developer. This version includes rotor and ball tracking. It works exceptionally well. Over this week, they'll put together all tracking components which include:
1. Wheel location tracking
2. Tracking of ball alone
3. Tracking of rotor alone with zero pocket
From this, we'll be able to determine the actual timings. With the hiring of additional developers, this version is proving much more expensive to develop that originally anticipated. It is more because the first developer decided to have health issues. But regardless, development is nearing completion and we'll end up with multiple versions. I'll release a video soon.

Uber shipping
I've asked the uber programmer to respond by Monday, or I have to change programmers. He's done well but we can't accept such delays. So if I dont hear from him, on tuesday morning I'll send all source code to the new programmer.
It will take him about a week just to follow the code, then another week to be comfortable to tinker with it. Then another week to complete it. So if we don't hear from the existing programmer, unfortunately there is going to be an unavoidable delay.
Not to worry though because the mods I wanted done are not critical - players lived without them before. I'll ship off the rest of the computers over the coming week. Some have already been shipped. Then later when the mod is complete, I'll let everyone know. If you'd rather wait about 3 weeks, please let me know asap.

Just elaborating on moving support issues to the forum: even if I just responded to your email for support, if you have further questions from now, ask them on the forum so everyone can see and learn - and so I dont repeatedly answer the same questions.
Unless your email has private information that shouldnt be on the forum (like casino names), if you send an email for support, I'll request you post on the forum. I'll leave it up you to decide what you do or dont want published on the forum. Understand that support emails are what take most of my time. Players dont see how much I have to do, so please assist me by using the forum from now.

The obvious exceptions to using the forum are if you are discussing private information or requesting an access code. But if you just have general questions about something related to the system or computers, use the forum. Some of the more experienced players may also help you (and me) out.
Even when I stop taking new players, it will still be support related issues that take the most time. UItimately the forum will save me a lot of time.

Hybrid V3 progress
Today I tested the hybrid V3 from one of the new developers. Progress has been much quicker with this developer, and ball detection is semi-working already. The actual wheel tracking is all done. It appears he'll be finished well before the others - he estimates around 20 days remaining.
The original developer is still moving along, albeit slowly. I havent yet heard from the other one but am due to have another test build in 2 weeks. Its not going to be long before we have multiple versions to choose from.

Computer shipping
I still haven't heard from the programmer, so I've started shipping. I may have to kill him. Either way if he doesn't get things done soon, the good news is I have another programmer ready to go - he's proven a reliable and competent programmer for numerous projects of mine. But with the uber now, there are only such minor mods that are done, I haven't changed programmers. ie none of the ubdates are critical, but it doesn't mean the long waits are acceptable.

Roulette computer shipping (Uber)
The programmer is completely unresponsive to both emails and calls, so I have no idea what is going on. This matter is beyond my control - I've been doing all I can on my end. If I do not hear from him by mid next week, I'll just ship everyone the current version. If you'd rather wait a bit longer, let me know. Otherwise you can just update later. I suspect he's just busy with his now full-time job, but its still not acceptable.

Wheel analysis software bug
I found a small bug in the online software. It's not critical but slightly reduces your edge. For example, if you are supposed to be betting 10 numbers, 2 of them may be missed. It is being fixed.

Hybrid V3 on Android Phone
I've hired a third developer for the Hybrid V3, but they will be working with the second developer. The second version will be for a linux environment, with the aim of having it all run on a mobile phone. It is not a necesarry thing as the original hardware is small and covert enough - it is just my OCD / obsessive compulsive development and perhaps preoccupation with size. The phone version will take a bit longer as it needs to be ported to an Android phone. Players will receive the original hardware, but will later have an option to upgrade to the phone version later at a minimal cost. One disadvantage of the phone version though is it can only support two players, whereas the other hardware can support any number of players.

The following is regarding the mobile phone software that tells a roulette computer player what accuracy is possible for a roulette wheel with respect to predicting where the ball will fall, without needing to actually use the computer:

It will need detailed instructions as its not as simple as I first intended it to be. One thing led to another, I found other applications, and development continued. Also if you've had trouble trying to avoid the sudden point of deceleration to ensure accurate diamond targeting, this software is what you need.
It is ready for release but there is not much point to releasing it without the instructions. I wont have time to do the instructions until next week. So I expect everything will be released next week some time.
Again you MUST have one of the modified phones for the software to be effective (lite or uber). It may run on most phones, but you wont get accurate timings on just any phone.

Also I have made the decision to definitely stop taking new players but
I havent set a time yet. Again support to existing players wont change,
and the proposed software will be completed. ( ie hybrid v3, phone and
server integration for the wheel analysis software etc). It is far from
leaving roulette completely - just a stop to sales.

Uber bug fixed
The programmer has told me the uber bug is fixed now (for the new phones), but I haven't tested it myself yet. I wont have time until monday, but the additional mods will be complete by about mid next week. Given than when one thing in the software changes, other things can change, it is better if I test everything together after all mods.
Understand if I test now, I need to test everything which takes many hours. And after any further updates, I'd just need to test again. So while it adds a few days to the delay, its a better option.

Crossroads
I'm at a bit of a crossroads and deciding which of my businesses to close. I find myself not having time for many things. It is between roulette system and computer sales, and another of my businesses. If sales close, this only means sales close - nothing else changes including support. It would only mean I don't need to support additional players. Again no matter what the decision, it does NOT affect existing players in any way.
The whole "not enough time" issue is something I thought the automated software would fix. And certainly it has made things easier for everyone, but the correspondence with players for support still takes a lot of time. The years of software and hardware development and explaining some of the most basic concepts over and over has left me with an inordinate amount of grey hair for my age.
I would rather keep taking new players as roulette is and always will be a primary passion, but unfortunately it takes the most time, and patience. Even just a temporary stop on new players is an option. Either way I'll need to decide soon if I'm to keep the rest of my hair; both colors.

Hybrid V3 Updated Algorithm

This video really gives it a good test with some fast, vigorous and unreasonable shaking of the camera. This algorithm learns the different angles of the wheel. If you watch carefully, you can see how well it learns from this short video - it learns both angle and scale changes. Especially angle changes are very difficult to do because with basic algorithms, the computer thinks the image has changed completely whereas we as humans can very easily recognize mere angle changes. This is really not easy work to develop, so understandably we have taken longer than expected to get this far.
But as per my recent broadcast, the current developer is quite ill so we need to find a new developer to complete the hybrid v3 in a timely manner. To avoid further delays, the original developer will continue while the new one creates his own version. Then we'll just use whichever version is best.

Mod for Uber
The latest mod for the Uber will be complete by the end of the week. It wont take me more than a day to test. Plus a few minor tweaks are being done, and the bug-fix mentioned in my previous update. Especially with the main mod being done, it will be worth the wait of 3-4 days. This mod will take the 'brainwork' out of knowing what is a legitimate peak or not. It means you'll need fewer spins to identify legitimate peaks.
