JAA

Recently the JAA programmer uploaded modifications to JAA when it was supposed to be the development server, and this has caused some problems like players being unable to log into accounts. This is being fixed asap. Sorry for the problem, but the programmer is very quick and wont take long to correct the issue. Until it is fixed I wont create more accounts, but again it wont be much of a delay.

Emails

I've responded to most emails today, and have about 3 hours left to finish the rest after a break. I'll be finished by roughly 9pm tonight my time (GMT +10). Please don't re-send emails.

General update

I know I'm behind on emails. I'm not ignoring everyone, and I will be fully up to date on all emails within 24hrs. I appreciate your patience.

JAA

The programmer added some of the updates to the player version of JAA, although it was supposed to be applied to the test server only. For now please don't use the updated areas until I test them.

General update

The last week has been crazy busy and I'm quite far behind on my emails. I'm working some late nights to catch up especially as I'm going back on vacation in a couple of weeks.

 

I changed the player updates blog back to the original address because the change would cause too many problems. the address will change but later when a better solution is found.

 

The next update of JAA is about half done. This is the one that reduces the amount of spins required and/or does more with whatever spins you add.

 

I'll have the next update of the hybrid shortly too.

 

Some of you are repeatedly sending emails. I understand why with the delays at the moment, but please be patient and I'll reply as soon as possible.

General update

I've been mostly testing software so I'm behind on my emails. I wont be up to date by the end of today. Please don't re-send emails and I'll respond to everyone by Tuesday next week.

Various updates

During the holiday season, I'm not sure how or why some people aren't on a beach somewhere instead of front of a computer, but excellent progress has been made with various software development.

 

Hybrid V3: The updates are DONE by the new programmers. Now I'm just testing everything and reporting any issues. This will take me a few days, but it looks like everything is functional with the updates. I'll know what, if anything, needs to be done soon. However I do know there are the security features that need attention. These are basically features that prevent unauthorized access to the software. Like the Uber computer, we'll also introduce features where even if software was hacked to some degree, it wont function correctly in addition to functioning more like a radio beacon for casino surveillance. Like any other important software, it will be rather well protected. Very soon, the individuals who needed to visit me for this, will need to make arrangements to visit me for training and to collect their hybrid. Please don't make arrangements just yet – wait for my contact.

 

Also the previous programmer said he's finished too and will be sending me everything shortly. One of the other is fine with me.

 

JAA: The programmer added a few more updates. It's not going to get much easier to use advanced methods. But we still need to implement an important feature that reduces the amount of spins needed for accurate analysis. After all, practicality is a critical issue. Basically instead of having 300 spins, you will be able to use 100 spins with the same accuracy of analysis. So it is certainly worthwhile. But before the programmer starts work on it, he has a lot of questions and he needs to understand it properly.

 

After that mod is added, then we'll finally implement the integration with the mobile phone spin collection software (the phone system). Keep in mind the JAA software can already be used on mobile phones, but the phone system I'm referring to will be something you use right at the table. All you do is input the spin data via a hidden cable and with a wireless earpiece. Then this data is automatically sent to the analysis server, and where to bet is sent back to your phone. Besides using the Hybrid's image recognition capabilities to automatically read the winning numbers and collect data, and a robot to place the bets for you in the casino, it's not going to get any easier. But we won't be using image recognition or robots for that.

 

There is more great news but I'll post updates as I have time.

General update

I'm back to work. By the end of today I'll send all access codes and address the most urgent matters. A few other points below:

 

Hybrid V3: One of the programmers hired an assistant and believes he can be finished by early next week. I doubt it though. I'm more focusing on the new programmers who are making rapid and regular progress – they are far more reliable and again, I've been working with them for years on other projects and they've never let me down.

 

New JAA: Over the holidays the programmer coded some additions but they are not visible to users. The mods slightly increase accuracy of analysis, but soon he'll start work on an important addition that reduces the amount of time you need for spin collection. This particular mod is the one that dramatically increases the server load because it cross-references all the data (permutations). With the original JAA version, one analysis of 300-600 spins could have taken 45 seconds or more. But changes and better coding will make it run much faster. Also please remember I'll be closing the other JAA software in a few days. So you wont be able to access it at all soon.

 

By the end of tomorrow I should be reasonably up to date on emails, but please don't re-send emails if I'm not.
