Many people are sending me important information via Skype.com messages, even when I'm OFFLINE. Please do NOT do this, even if I'm online because when I'm online, I tend to get bombarded with message windows and can easily lose track of information. I treat skype as a live communication tool, not an email or message service.
If you have anything important to send me, only use email as it's the only assured way I'll receive it and keep record of it. The exception is if I'm actually in a conversation with you via chat window, and request specific information at that time.
