Away from 29th Mar - 2nd April & General Update

I'll be away between 29th Mar - 2nd April but I will try to do some emails at some time during this period.

 

JAA: The latest JAA mods appear to be complete and working properly. For now it is on the TEST SERVER ONLY so players can't use it yet. I still need to carefully test it which wont be possible until mid-late next week.

Do you use Yahoo email?

Yahoo is probably the worst "big name" free email provider, as they regularly block legitimate emails for whatever reason. Their spam filters are extremely unreliable and my emails often never arrive. This happens quite often, so if you're using Yahoo email and aren't getting the emails you expect from me, then chances are Yahoo is blocking my emails. This occurs usually because of the combination of keywords. If this is happening to you, please use gmail to contact me, and use the email exclusively for contact with me. Best not use your ISP email as this will change if you use a different ISP.

All shipping done

All shipping is now complete. Now I'm way behind on my emails so will do as many as possible before the weekend. I wont be able to do them all, but will be up to date by end of Monday.

Uber Instructions

I've started work on some additions to the Uber instructions, based on feedback received from players. Its more like general elaboration though.

 

There will also be a whole extra section that I need to add to cover specific diamond targeting as the current section is not sufficient for all wheels and conditions. The main focus for me is simplifying the advanced features, which are sometimes essential for a sufficient edge.

General Schedule & JAA

JAA: The programmers have promised they'll have the fully tested latest version available for my testing. It will just be on the test server for now. I wont be able to test it fully until later this week, but the latest version MAY be available for players by Friday. That is assuming I don't find bugs.

 

General Schedule: As I'll be away tomorrow, I wont be able to do all emails etc. Please don't resend emails. I'll address them asap – possibly tomorrow afternoon, but more likely Wednesday.

Shipping & General Schedule

All shipping items are ready to go, but I'll be unavailable to ship them tomorrow, so they are being shipped Wednesday.

Hybrid V3

The good news is we sorted out a major issue that created instability in the secure wireless communications. This was a source of a major holdup but it needed to be done right for everything else to function correctly. From this point, the coding is fairly straight-forward as both programmers agree.

 

The bad news is one of the Hybrid programmers has some personal issues to attend to, so is on leave for 13 days. When he returns he'll be full time until completion. Before you email me saying how painful that is for you, believe me, it is 100 times worse for me.

 

Meanwhile the other programmer will do other work in preparation for his return, so progress is still being made.
